Our fully equipped development laboratory and modern processing plant can provide economical and effective products. Just suggest the flavour profile and the use (syrup, soft drink, spirit) and we will match it from one of our several hundred existing formulations or design one to exactly match your needs. We can supply ready to bottle.
New Product Development: Come to us with your project. We have helped beverage makers from around the world to turn their ideas into a commercially viable industry. From Chinese Dogwood Wine, to Southland parsnip vodka and Samoan Taro Whiskey our work has made these ideas a commercial reality.
Flavour Blends
Choose from one of several hundred existing formulations or let us develop one especially for you.
Bulk Concentrates
Our production facility can provide a drum of Communion Wine or pallecons of Rum base ready to blend. All produced to ANZFSA standards.
Ingredients: We carry our extensive range of base ingredients from fruit acids, preservatives, sanitisers and sweetners to malts, yeasts, hops and nutrients. Pure spirit ethanol is always available in 25L, 200L or 1000L containers.
Bottling
Southern Distilling operates a auto bottler for 40 and 50ml miniatures, glass or plastic, ROPP capped.
Equipment
Testing: Hydrometers, Refractometers or laboratory glassware, PH and colour comparators all ex stock.
Production: Tanks, filters, pumps plus copper mesh and rashid rings for column distilling.
Service: As well as ingredients we will advise and provide production equipment, testing methods, packaging and even labels. If you require a artistic glass bottle or a barrel we will happily help.
Technical & Training support
We consult on plant layout, equipment and processes. We can even train your technical staff.
Southern Distilling (a division of Hauraki Beverage) operates under ANZFSA regulations, and all products meet this code. Ingredients are all USFDA, EC, BP, USP approved and our plant, processes and formulas are audited by NZ Government Asure Quality programme.
Our premises are NZ Customs Licensed (CCA), MPI approved and we have DG Certified handlers on site.
